Retaliation stats benefit the Oathkeeper class because the mastery has skills that get additional damage from retaliation.

Retaliation builds don't need to wait for enemies to attack in order to deal damage.

Equipment Priorities

Wear items that add and multiply your retaliation damage.

It is also important to boost your defensive ability, armor, and resistance from different types of damage since you’ll be relying more on enemy attacks than yours.

Tank as many enemies as you can while you attack them with your skills.
